Events build up to city Pride festival

Groundlings Theatre have announced a series of events taking place in the lead up to Portsmouth Pride onÂ September 15.

The week will kick off onÂ September 8 with a series of art workshops presented by Portsmouth Pride Youth Society.

The theme for the creative sessions will be to create a piece of artwork around the concept this is me.

Across the course of the week there will be a series of theatrical productions including the Pink Triangle '“Â a story of love in a wartime concentration camp.

The week's events will end on Thursday September 13 with a chance to relive your school days at the Portsmouth Pride Youth Society Prom.
