Fareham centre to hold range of fundraisers this month

A CENTRE which supports children with cerebral palsy is holding a number of events this month.

The Rainbow Centre, in Fareham, will have a musical gala, fun day and a physical challenge event.

All the events will be raising money for the centre which also supports adults with Parkinson’s Disease or have suffered a stroke or head injury.

The first event is a music evening on June 17. Portsmouth Military Wives Choir will be performing along with the Hampshire Police Male Voice Choir and HMS Collingwood Volunteer Band.

The event is at HMS Collingwood, in Fareham.

On June 24 the centre, on Palmerston Road, will be holding its annual fun day at Cams Alders recreation ground. There will be a dog show, live music, disco and stalls.

Finally, the following day the Rainbow Centre is having a Super Challenge event.

Individuals and teams of four will take part in a number of challenges from running to kayaking and cycling.
