Fareham council calls for public help in fraud crackdown
Fareham Borough Council is encouraging residents to report more on any incidents they know about and says it is continually carrying out work to prevent more cases of fraud.
Councillor Sean Woodward, leader of the council said: ‘It’s important that we work with residents to catch the fraudsters in Fareham.

Hide Ad‘There are a number of ways that it can be reported, including the Fareham Fraud app, which allows people to discreetly report something from their phone.’
The council is also cracking down on housing fraud and has advised residents to look more keenly for examples of this.
Residents are told to look out for incidents of properties being sublet and people selling house keys.
