Festive recycling advice to keep costs downÂ

PEOPLE have been urged to keep their waste to a minimum this festive period to keep down refuse costs for the county council.

The plea comes as Hampshire County Council delivers a message on typically festive items which can and cannot be recycled.

Metal biscuit and sweet tins, cardboard delivery boxes, cards and envelopes can all be recycled in residents' kerbside collection.  But  wrapping paper, which contains foil, and moulded plastic packaging such as toy packaging cannot.
