Fire crews called to Waterlooville shed blaze

Fire crews were called to a fire in Waterlooville involving a shed filled with petrol.

Two crews from Cosham and Waterlooville, respectively, were called to a premises on London Road at 10.04am.

The fire started in a shed with petrol inside, before spreading to an adjacent shed and fence.

Firefighters used hose reel jets to put out the fire, and left the scene at 10.39am.

The fire broke out near J F Goodwillie timber merchants on London Road. The company say it was not involved.

Smoke could be seen over Portsdown Hill.
