George Hollingbery MP signs up to tackle fraud
AN MP has signed up to be a '˜scambassador' in a bid to protect his constituents from fraud.
Meon Valley MP George Hollingbery has signed up to an initiative run by the Chartered Trading Standards Institute which is calling on community leaders to raise awareness of mass marketing scams.
Mr Hollingbery said: ‘I very much welcome this initiative to raise awareness about these scams.
‘Everyone from relatives to the postman needs to be aware these people are operating so that it can be reported and victims can be helped.’
