Havant Heritage Trail given a new lease of live thanks to the Rotary ClubÂ

THE historic Havant Heritage Trail has been freshened up thanks to the Rotary Club.

Members of the organisation have cleaned plaques and replaced signs along the route, which takes in 34 sites across the centre of the town.

The Rotary Club established the trail alongside the Bosmere 100 and it can be followed by downloading a leaflet from Havant Borough Council's website.

The locations it takes in are geared at illustrating what Havant used to look like '“ including the Roman foundations of St Faith's Church and remnants of the '˜Battle of Havant' at the railway station.
