Rowan is the mascot for the children’s service at The Rowans Hospice, a charity in Purbrook that helps people with life-limiting illnesses.

He was at Roko, in Copnor, on Saturday to promote the Starlit Walk, a sponsored walk for children due to take place in Portsmouth on October 27.

Shirley Ellis, Roko sales manager, said: ‘This was a fantastic opportunity to be involved with The Rowans and raise awareness.’
