Moneyfields closing in on new recruits after defeat at Totton

Dave Carter is closing in on new recruits after Moneyfields were beaten 1-0 at AFC Totton in the Southern League division one south.

The Moneys boss has been looking around to bolster his squad and now hopes to have a couple of new players on board before the weekend.

A single first-half strike proved enough for AFC Totton.

The decisive goal arrived when the visitors were caught out by a low cross to the far post leaving the home striker with a simple tap-in.

Carter felt his team were a bit unfortunate to lose.
