Nicky Wragg, CT and MRI superintendent radiographer, said: ‘It is at the forefront of technology and the images it produces are of an outstanding diagnostic quality.

‘The clinical applications that it can be used for will allow us to expand scanning expertise in many fields including cardiology, respiratory, oncology and paediatrics.’

The QA Leage of Friends provided artwork to brighten up the scanning room.
