Mr Tall, a magician and balloon artist, was provided entertainment.

A barbecue, cake sale, pick-and-mix stall and raffle were held and a pop-up beauty parlour opened for the afternoon.

Nursery manager Cath Turner said: ‘We had a fantastic day and are delighted that we managed to raise so much money for this amazing cause.

‘A big thank you to all of the families who made this possible by coming along and joining in the fun.’
