LOVE doesn’t stop for anything.
That's why despite all the last-minute changes, so many people from across the Portsmouth area made sure their weddings went ahead during last year’s Covid-19 restrictions.
We recently took to Facebook to ask happy couples to share with us photos of their special and unexpectedly unique wedding days.
Danielle, left, and Nicola, right, married on 5.8.20. Danielle said: 'Supposed to get married May 20th, 2020 - pushed back until August 5th. Neither of our parents could witness the wedding as we were only able to have two witnesses and couldn't choose between parents; so we picked two of our lovely friends. Forever grateful we were able to get married.' Photo: Danielle Arreghini-Kent
Claire married on 19.12.20. She said: 'We married finally after 4 attempts in 2020. We married on the 19th December 2020 at Hertford registry office. Was perfect.' Photo: Claire Williamson
