Call for bidders to raise money for Portsmouth boy with rare brain tumour

People are being invited to bid in a charity auction to help a five-year-old Portsmouth boy with a rare brain tumour.

Kara Hinds has organised the event for Oscar Kerley, pictured, from Copnor, who is having extensive radiotherapy and chemotherapy.

All the money raised will go to Oscar’s Army – a charity Facebook page set up by friends and family, who want to raise enough money to send Oscar on a trip to Disneyland.

March is brain tumour awareness month.

All bidders can contact Oscar’s Army directly at facebook.com/oscarsarmy/?fref=ts.

The main event is at La Dolce Vita, Hamble, tomorrow where restaurant owner Chris Hannides has donated all the food.

Raffle prizes include beauty therapy treatments, champagne, a Chelsea football club soccer school course, a family behind-the-scenes trip on HMS Victory and restaurant vouchers.
