Crowds had a chance pose for pictures with a variety of cars, enjoy live music, and browse a variety of cake and sweet stalls at Sarisbury Junior School, in Allotment Road.

A DeLorean was exhibited with a 'radioactive' fuel container - a reference to the 1985 film Back To The Future, which featured a time-travelling version of the iconic car.

The owner of the antique Model T, Jim Baumann, brought along a collection of classic cars, including a Jaguar E-Type, a 1960s Peugeot 504, and a 1950s Citron DBS.  Jim said he had 'no clear favourite.'  He said: 'Every car has a deserving mood 'I would be incapable of selling any. ‘With my daughter being a former pupil, I felt honour bound to attend.’ The event was held to raise money for a variety of charities and memorials in connection with former school pupil Summer Page. The nine year old died in March after developing a rare form of brain tumour.  Maria Kimble, who organised the event with her husband Ben, said: 'Summer was a happy girl, so we wanted today to be a happy day. 'Sarisbury is very much a community focused school. ‘I’m so pleased to see so many people here.’ Memorials include a fairy garden featuring artwork created by Summer's classmates, a commemorative bench within the grounds, and a tree sculpture within the community.  Councillor Sean Woodward, leader of Fareham Borough Council and councillor of Sarisbury ward, said: 'We have a fantastic sculptor at Royal Victoria Country Park. ‘So when Maria came to me and said, “we would like to find a way of remembering Summer in the community,” I suggested we do something with the sculptor. 'I was able to give county council grant budget to get things moving.' A tree sculpture memorial - which will follow a design by Summer - is planned to be unveiled by the end of May.
