A colourful, carefully coloured in image of Captain Tom, who died on February 2 at the age of 100, was created by thoughtful five-year-old Vegas Edwards.
Proud mum Katherine Edwards helped Vegas get her touching artwork displayed in the window of their local One Stop store.

Hide AdOn paying tribute to Captain Tom, Vegas said: ‘He was very happy and kind, he walked everywhere and he was helping to get lots of pennies for the doctors because they’ve made people better from the virus at the hospital.
‘Everyone can now see the picture I coloured in of Tom and smile because I put a rainbow on it, that makes everyone happy.’
Vegas watched a few videos of the fundraising campaign for the NHS and showed great interest in the hard work shown by Captain Tom to support the NHS through the pandemic.
Katherine said: ‘It goes to show even as young as just five years old Vegas is aware of what an incredible human is no matter of the age or race, and that kindness and strong people can be portrayed and exist in the world at such dark challenging times the whole world is going through.
