Emsworth community Christmas to help the lonely

LONELY people are invited to come together and join a free festive event on Christmas Day.

The Emsworth Community Christmas is taking place once again.

Open to all residents, the event is a chance for elderly, those living alone, people who have suffered a bereavement and those struggling to make ends meet to come together.

Jessica, who set up the event three years ago, said: ‘We know Christmas can be a lonely time for some people.

‘We just want to give everyone a chance to come together and celebrate Christmas.’

The day will take place from 11am to 4pm at Hewitts, in South Street, Emsworth.

Transport to and from the event is available for those who need it.

Spaces are limited. To book, call Moira on 07521 939202. For more details, call Jessica on 07955 375103.
