Event assigns local contractors to major projects

Hampshire Meet The Buyer aims to boost partership between major industries and local contractors.

It is being organised by marketing specialist Little Kanga, Portsmouth City Council, the University of Portsmouth and Marriott Hotels.

The event will take at Marriott Portsmouth on Saturday, June 27 from 9.30am to 1.30pm, in a one off-opportunity to introduce firms to major contracting opportunities.

Becky Lodge, director of Portsmouth-based Little Kanga and the driving force behind securing such high-profile partnerships, said: ‘The event was aimed at STEM-based businesses; technical industries such as defence, FM companies, the construction sector, mechanical and electrical companies and contractors, plus people who supply them.
