Falklands veteran tells tales of survival at Gosport charity night

MOVING stories from the Falklands War will be told by a veteran who survived the conflict to fundraisers in Gosport next month.

Sailor-turned-author Kevin Porter will be recounting his time as an 18-year-old tactical radio operator during the 1982 conflict.

He will read extracts from his new book Fearless – The Diary of an 18-year-old at War in the Falklands, which was based on his war diary as a teen.
