Havant colleagues leap from plane for Over the Wall

Five workers from FatFace, in Havant, jumped thousands of feet from a plane and managed to raise more than £2,000 for the charity Over The Wall.

It is the UK branch of the late Academy Award winner Paul Newman’s Serious Fun camps and provides therapeutic and recreational camps for children who are seriously ill, as well as camps for siblings of the seriously ill.

Those who took part were Steve Pottinger, 31, Laura Allen, Jean-Pierre Gadsdon, 38, Kerry Hogg, 23, and Emma Todd.

Laura, 35, said: ‘The skydive was an awesome experience and the adrenaline was certainly pumping as we fell through the air at 120mph.

‘I’m so glad we could help raise some money for Over The Wall and have such an amazing experience at the same time.’

Emma Todd, 32, said she found the experience ‘exhilarating’.

She added: ‘After the jump I wanted to get up there and do it again.

‘Skydiving was a fantastic way to raise money for the charity combined with ticking something off of my bucket list.

‘Over The Wall was the charity voted for by the whole of FatFace as something we felt strongly about supporting.’
