Missing Havant woman Hayley is found safe, police confirm

A WOMAN whose sudden disappearance sparked ‘extreme’ concerns for her welfare has been found, police have confirmed.

Both Hampshire Constabulary and Hayley Stephenson’s loved ones were worried after she went missing at 10.30am yesterday.

The 36-year-old from Havant was last seen in Tesco Metro, in Cosham high street, before walking in the direction of Cosham Railway Station.

A police spokesman said today: ‘An update for you this morning.

‘Hayley Stephenson has been located.

‘Thank you to everyone who shared our appeal.’

Hundreds of people helped police by sharing an appeal published by The News on Wednesday.
