Pets take centre stage at Animal Star Awards in Portsmouth

Furry friends took centre stage at the launch of the Animal Star Awards.

The ceremony aims to give recognition to animals that do extraordinary things for us humans and vice versa.

The Guildhall Portsmouth hosted the event and guests – human and animal – were warmly welcomed Lord Mayor of Portsmouth, Councillor David Fuller.

Anneka Svenska, owner of Green World TV and Angels for The Innocent, was one of the guests of honour.
