The initiative is especially important during the coronavirus pandemic, as it allows elderly and vulnerable individuals to stay safe indoors but also provides much needed contact during these times.

Apetito delivers a hot meal to customers’ doors all year round - however each of Apetito’s drivers has another important role.

Every driver is trained to undertake safe and wellbeing checks on every customer, which helps people to continue to live independently all year round.

The work of all the drivers was celebrated with nationwide Meals on Wheels Week, praising the efforts of these frontline workers.
