The Head of the Mary Rose Academy, Neil Kefford said: ‘We always have a lot of fun dressing up and the day’s events are always great, I am really pleased with the outcome and we as a school really value the work of the charity.’

Whilst raising money for comic relief, the school also gives part of the money raised to The New Horizon School in Ghana, another special school but one with less provisions.

Mr Kefford added: ‘We often send staff to work at The New Horizon School during the summer holidays and we always have them in the back of our minds whilst fundraising for other charities.’
