POLICE have praised a group of teenagers in Fareham who helped an elderly woman who appeared to be lost and confused.

In a message labelled ‘THANK YOU’ on their Facebook page, the Fareham Police team wrote: ‘Yesterday, #PCSO18350 from Gosport Police and #PCSO16551 from our East Team were crewed together and travelling on Henry Cort Way, when they were flagged down by a group of teenagers.

‘The group had found an elderly woman who had lost her way and appeared to be suffering with some memory problems. They provided her water and kept her safe until our officers arrived.
