Fareham council proposes to increase council tax by £5 a year

Fareham Borough Council has outlined plans for next year’s budget which would see its share of council tax for Band D properties across the borough go from £145.22 to £150.22, equating to an increase of 3.44 per cent. The local authority will make a decision at a full council meeting later this month.
