Inspector overrules Gosport council to allow massage parlour
PLANS to build a massage parlour have been approved on appeal.
Gosport Borough Council had refused the application for the massage treatment rooms at 149 Forton Road – a former grocery shop.
The council said in its refusal it did not fit in with the ‘vitality and viability’ of the area which is considered a neighbourhood centre.
But an independent inspector has overruled the council’s decision, saying a massage parlour does not harm the area. The report added a window display must be provided at all times.
