Shadow MP will visit city

Labour MP for Oxford East Anneliese Dodds will visit workers at Lynx House in Cosham as part of a review of HMRC cuts and office closures for the shadow treasury.

It comes amid her party's concern about the impact of the Building Our Future programme.

The scheme has seen a number of HMRC offices join forces, instead forming regional hubs.

According to the Labour Party, the scheme has left some HMRC staff unable to commute to new premises.

The impact of Brexit on the new system is also set to be a focus of the MP's visit.
