Advance tickets for the event will remain on sale until midnight tonight.

The action is set to be one of the biggest yet, featuring adrenaline-fuelled monster truck shows, marching displays, field gun runs and a circus.

Animal antics will also take centre stage at the two-day spectacle, with lambs running and leaping over obstacles in the Lamb National and a sheepdog display from Bob Hogg.

Show director Lieutenant Commander Roy Johnson said the show was the ‘pinnacle’ of the base’s community events.

‘It’s a great privilege to be involved with the Sultan Summer Show, as it continues to entertain thousands of visitors and also raises vital funds for service and local charities and good causes,’ Lt Cdr Johnson said.

‘As well as the arena acts and circus, there are lots of new activities on offer at this year’s show, including caving, creepy crawlies and even mini monster trucks.’

Gates open from 10am to 6pm on both days. Advance tickets are available at Asda in Gosport or www.hmssultan.ticketsrv.co.uk
