Teenagers hold fun day for children's charity

TEENAGERS are hoping to raise cash to help terminally ill children fulfil their last wishes.

The group is taking part in the National Citizens Service scheme, being run by Pompey in the Community.

They are holding a fundraising day at the Green Posts pub, in London Road, North End, in aid of the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

One of the team, Rhiannon Maund, 16, said: ‘We picked the Make-A-Wish Foundation as we believe terminally-ill children should be able to enjoy the time they have left and have a bit of happiness.’

The event will take place from midday until 4pm on Thursday. To make a donation to their project go to gofund.me/2hwnz94k
