Tickets go on sale for Sultan's bonfire night

THOUSANDS of people are expected to head to Gosport for one of the largest firework displays in the area.

The HMS Sultan Bonfire & Fireworks Night returns to HMS Sultan, in Military Road, on Thursday, October 27.

As well as the main fireworks display there will be entertainers including fire breathers and a funfair with rides, and free parking.

Advance tickets go on sale on Thursday.

Family tickets, with two adults and two children, cost £15; or £5 for adults, £4 for children under 14.

There are discounts available for early tickets and children under five will receive free entry.

The gates will open on the day at 6pm, with the bonfire lit at 7.15pm and the main display at 8pm. The gates close at 10.30pm.
