Man taken to hospital after severe leg injuries in Portsmouth

A MAN suffered severe leg injuries in Portsmouth city centre.

South Central Ambulance Service (Scas) was called to Unicorn Road at 8.56am this morning.

The Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance landed at Portsmouth International Port.

A spokeswoman from Scas said: ‘We were called at 8.56am to Unicorn Road and sent one land ambulance and one air ambulance.

‘A male with a severe leg injuries was then taken to Southampton General Hospital by the land ambulance.’

It is not known how the man suffered the injuries.
