'˜Mayhem' as crane on passing lorry flips car in Waterlooville

A CAR was flipped crashing on to another car by the crane of a passing lorry in Waterlooville.

It happened in Aston Road Industrial Estate in Waterlooville, with three cars believed to be damaged.

Hampshire police is not investigating the incident involving a WP Metal Limited lorry.

He said: ‘It was complete mayhem.

‘Three cars were damaged.

‘The Skoda Octavia was quite bad as it was on its roof.

‘The Volkswagen was all bashed up and there was another car with its roof scraped where the crane went over it.’

He added: ‘The crane picked up one car.

‘The crane went through the window and dragged it over the top of the other car.’

The firm said it is carrying out its own investigation.
