VIDEO: Motorway lanes reopen on M27 after crash causes traffic delays in Portsmouth area

DRIVERS faced delays of more than an hour following a crash involving a motorcycle on the M27 towards Fareham.

All lanes are now open westbound between junction 12 and 11 but there were still delays with tailbacks to the A3M.

Queues also formed on Western Road, in Cosham, causing delays towards Paulsgrove and Portchester.

A spokesman from Hampshire Constabulary said the crash involved a Vauxhall Insignia and a Triumph motorbike.

He added no-one looked to be seriously injured.

The incident happened at 4.40pm this afternoon. Fire services were also at the scene after the motorbike was engulfed in flames.
