Hovertravel services cancelled as Storm Francis continues to unleash its wrath

Hovertravel have cancelled all services until tomorrow morning due to ongoing adverse weather.

The high winds brought by Storm Francis have led to cancellations across the day for the popular Southsea to Ryde hovercraft service but the company have said they will now not be running any services until tomorrow morning.

A statement on the company’s website said: ‘Services are cancelled due to adverse weather conditions. The Next update will be provided at 5.45am 26/08/2020.’
