Lanes cleared after M27 crash – but long delays remain

DRIVERS are facing major delays after a crash on the M27 this morning.

Two lanes were blocked westbound between Junction 12 for the M275 and Junction 11 for Fareham after a four-car collision.

Although the lanes have been cleared, delays are currently backing up to the A27, with drivers urged to avoid the area if at all possible.

A spokesman from South Central Ambulance Service has confirmed that a rapid response vehicle has been sent to the scene, with no serious injuries.

Hampshire Constabulary has also confirmed that nobody was injured in the crash.

Commuters have been told to expect delays of more than an hour, with the M237, A27 and A3(M) also affected.
