Walkers Crisps launch Brussels Sprouts flavoured crisps as part of Christmas range

As a staple side dish at the Christmas dinner table - sprouts are maligned by many, but the humble vegetable also has a loyal legion of lovers, with us Brits reportedly eating more than any European country.

But in the spirit of Christmas unity, Walkers are including Brussels Sprouts in its range of festive flavours '“ its first in a decade. 

Although if sprout flavoured crisps don't tickle your fancy then the range also includes Turkey & Stuffing and Pigs in Blankets flavoured. 

There will also be two multi-packs available: 

- Christmas dinner for sprout lovers includes: Brussels Sprouts, Turkey & Stuffing and Pigs in Blankets flavours

- Christmas dinner for sprout haters includes: Glazed Ham, Turkey & Stuffing and Cheese & Cranberry flavours

Andrew Hawkswell, marketing manager at PepsiCo, said: '˜Here at Walkers we know that Christmas isn't Christmas without sprouts.

'˜Whether you grin or grimace at the sight of them, nothing divides the nation more at Christmas than a sprout '“ so we have created two Christmas Dinner multipacks, one for sprout lovers and one for haters to keep the peace this festive season.' 

The limited edition range are available from all leading retailers now '“ with the single packs of Brussels Sprouts, Turkey & Stuffing and Pigs in Blankets costing 65p each. 

And the two multi-packs costing £1.50 each.
