Police looking for a missing Portsmouth beauty therapist feared killed extended their search to woodland near a shopping centre.
Mother-of-five Sarah Wellgreen, who had a part-time job at Puresun in Elm Grove, Southsea, disapperared on October 9.
The 46-year-old was last seen in Bazes Shaw, New Ash Green, and has not been in touch with her family since. She was reported missing on October 11.
Officers combed an area near Bluewater in Dartford on Wednesday as part of ongoing searches after her disappearance and potential murder, Kent Police confirmed.
Detective Superintendent Paul Fotheringham said she ‘disappeared without a trace’, which was ‘entirely out of character’.
The only item missing from her home was her black iPhone 4.
Officers have searched several areas across Kent in the last week.
Divers have been in the River Darent in Dartford town centre, police and council workers have searched drains and the fire service stepped in with a drone.
Hundreds of members of the public volunteered to help.
A man in his thirties was arrested on October 16 and released on bail until November 16. Police have said they will not yet disclose what he has been arrested on suspicion of.
Detective Inspector Chris Greenstreet, of the force's major crime unit, said: ‘Officers are continuing to search a number of areas in north and west Kent in connection with identified lines of enquiry and following information coming in to the investigation team.
'It remains imperative that anyone with fixed CCTV or dashcam footage within a five-mile radius of New Ash Green gets in contact if they have not yet called us.
‘The information on the footage may be crucial to the investigation.’
Ms Wellgreen is white, around 5ft 7in, of medium build, with green eyes and straight, brown, shoulder-length hair.
She is also believed to have connections to Farnborough as well as Kent and Portsmouth.
Police have asked people who live in the area by the A2, M25, Cobham, Meopham and Horton Kirby to check sheds and woodland for any sign of her.
