THIS WEEK IN 1996: Players get married in rugby club colours
Fareham register office saw plenty of white weddings but not many couples got hitched in red and black rugby kits
Keith Tolson and his bride Sherry Davies decided to take their marriage vows in the colours of Fareham Heathens club.

Hide AdAnd after their big match they were cheered on by 15 team-mates who also turned out in full club kit.
The ceremony even had its own referee when Sherry's dad Dave turned up in his white official's outfit.
Scrum-half Sherry, 28, and Keith, 34, who lived in North End, Portsmouth, were both team captains for the Heathens.
They met eight years before when Sherry started the women's team.
'˜It was brilliant, especially when  the girls in the team made an archway to walk under,' said Sherry.
