Deciding the perfect venue for your dream wedding can be tricky '“ especially when the bride is from Sweden and the groom is from Gosport.
Darren Edney and Annette Frankeiss compromised and for settled for an island in the Baltic Sea off the coast of Sweden, with the reception being held at HMS Sultan,  Gosport, that weekend.
The couple remained on the island for their wedding night. Their only contact with the outside world was a boat bringing them Champagne, hot croissants and coffee for their first breakfast as a married couple.
The couple did not go on a honeymoon, but returned to their home in Hastings Avenue, Gosport, for their second celebration with 300 guests.
