Reggi Moseley claimed victory in the latest junior open match hosted by MBK Leisures.
The Portsmouth angler celebrated success after landing a haul of 15lb 4oz at Coloured Ponds in Rake.
His efforts were not only enough to bag the prize for top under-12 competitor – but they saw him finish at the summit of the overall standings.
Moseley was then congratulated by special guest Dave Chambers, of Wraysbury Baits.
Connor Hinkley was second in the overall standings.
The Petersfield youngster won the category for 13 to 17-year-olds with his bag of 8lb 1oz.
But he could do little to prevent his rival, Moseley, taking the overall crown.
Josh Tearle was third overall – and second in the 13 to 17-year-olds age group.
The Storrington angler’s catch tipped the scales at 6lb 10oz.
Rukaya Tamakloe, from Croydon, completed the podium in that age category with 4lb 1oz.
Ryan Hinkley was runner-up to Moseley in the under-12 standings.
The Petersfield talent’s return registered 6lb 6oz.
Clanfield’s Ethan Sanders recorded 15oz to grab the third podium spot. In the under-nines age group, Havant ace Jess Hancock claimed glory with a 2lb haul.
Henry Stevens, of Clanfield, was second with 10oz and Croydon’s Fabian Walcott was third on 4oz.
Eighteen anglers signed on for the match.
The next junior contest is on Saturday, May 28 at Coloured Ponds, Rake.
