Celebrating a memorable first year for Lee-on-the-Solent parkrun
After last Saturday’s cracking first anniversary run with 399 finishers, the volunteers and runners gathered together for a picnic.
Some first year achievement awards were also handed out.
Victoria Ayriss, topped the female annual points charge with 3552 from 38 runs.
Nikki Moxham, collected 3296 points from 33 runs.
Amie Morgan, with 3167 points from 35 runs, was third.

Hide AdCathy Webb and Louise Tanner were just outside the top three.
Chris Willams topped the male points table , with 3,633 points from 41 runs.
Graham Wright was second with 3,321 points from 41 runs.
Simon Hearnden, with 2,888 points from 32 runs, was third.
Tom Smith and Michael Welland were just outside the top three.
Most first finishers went to Nikki Moxham, 29 times from 33 runs, and she added to that last Saturday with another first place.

Hide AdThe top male was Stubbington Green’s Lewis Banner, with six first positions from nine runs at Lee.
Most personal bests went to Melanie Spence, with 19 times from 36 runs.
Her nearest challenger was Amie Morgan, with 14 PBs from 33 runs.
Chris Brobin finished first last Saturday with a time of 17min 19sec.

Hide AdBefore today’s 55th event the total number of runs completed at Lee-on-the-Solent parkrun stood at 15, 431.
The record attendance for the parkrun so far is 485 runners.
