Steve Leigh's team are still looking for their first win of the new year, having ended a run of four straight Wessex League losses with a 2-2 midweek draw at lowly Cowes Sports.

‘We have been struggling a bit of late but there is no need to panic,’ said Leigh.

‘Over the last few years we have been poor this time of the year.

‘The key to turning things around is to stop making mistakes which are costing us.

‘Our concentration levels need to be better and maintained for the whole 90 minutes.

‘We keep switching off and get punished for it.

‘You don't become a bad side overnight and it is just our thought process letting us down.

‘Hamble Club came up through the leagues with us and we know it will be a tough, physical game.

‘All we can do is keep working hard and the results will come.’

Rovers are without Luke Cornish and Tyler Moret, who are both travelling to Tranmere Rovers to watch Portsmouth try to secure a new club record of nine successive wins.

Tommy Scutt is a doubt with a tight hamstring but Callum Dart could be back after injury.

Baffins have never beaten Hamble in three Wessex League games at the PMC Stadium - losing 1-0 in 2016/17 in Division 1 and drawing two Premier Division matches.

Their last home win over Hamble was in 2015/16 - the season Baffins won the Hampshire Premier League title and Hamble finished third - both clubs won promotion to the Wessex that campaign.
