'The two Benfields (Josh and Callum) along with Casey Bartlett-Scott opened Brockenhurst up which was something we couldn't do in the first half.

'We could have been dead and buried by the break, but I am happy to come away with three points.'

Fareham fell behind in the 18th minute before levelling on the stroke of half-time when a Curt Robbins header from a corner was turned into his own net by a defender.

The Reds got their noses in front on 81 minutes with a good strike from Bartlett-Scott.
