Five-year-old football fan Liam ticks off his 150th football ground
FOOTBALL fanatic Liam Priday reached a groundhopping milestone this weekend after visiting his 150th ground, and he's only five years old.
Liam, who likes to go to matches with his dad Chris, took a landmark trip up to the Kassam Stadium, home of Oxford United FC, on Saturday.
Liam, from Havant, first saw his favourite team, Cambridge United, when he was two years old, but he is now set on scoring his next goal of seeing all 92 Football League grounds.
Chris says that this milestone ‘probably went past Liam’.
He added: ‘I think he likes the variation, every time we go it’s somewhere different. As he’s getting older, he’s getting into the culture of tucking into a pie and learning the chants!’
