Millwall defender makes loan move to Havant & Waterlooville

The 19-year-old defender, who signed his first professional contract at The Den earlier this season, has strengthened Paul Doswell’s squad as they chase the National League South title.

Tiensia is an attacking full-back who the Hawks have been targeting for several weeks.

It represents a first loan move of his career for the Ivory Coast-born talent and he is eager to show what he can do at National League South level.

‘I’m very excited as it’s my first loan,’ Tiensia told the club website.

‘I’m really looking forward to getting on the pitch and showing the fans, the gaffer and everyone around the club what I’m about.

‘I’m very happy Havant taken the chance on me obviously and I’m really excited and looking forward to it.’

Tiensia is likely to go straight into the Hawks’ squad when they welcome St Albans City in the league tomorrow.
