Assistant manager Matt Jones admitted his side were their own worst enemy.

‘We did okay for the first half-hour on a very sticky pitch,’ said Jones.

‘We then gave a very soft goal away and it took the wind out of our sails.

‘In the second half, we gave away another couple of sloppy goals and it is not good enough.’

n Fareham Town came from behind twice to force a 2-2 Wessex Premier draw against Brockenhurst at Cams Alders.

Gary Austin and Simon Woods were on target for the Reds.

‘Overall, a draw was a fair result,’ said Fareham manager Pete Stiles

‘It showed, particularly in the first half, that we haven't been playing and were a bit off the pace.

‘We were better in the second half and had a chance right at the death to snatch it.

‘But it wasn't to be.’
