POLL: Who should replace Eoin Doyle at Hartlepool?

Eoin Doyle has been ruled out of the trip to Victoria Park after limping off in the first half of the Blues’ 2-1 win against Newport County last week.

Paul Cook has admitted it ‘doesn’t look great’ for the Irishman and he could be sidelined for a lengthy period.

There are several candidates the Pompey boss could choose from to lead his forward line.

Conor Chaplin replaced Doyle last week against Newport.

However, Cook opted to start with Noel Hunt over the academy graduate in the Blues’ loss at Stevenage.

Nicke Kabamba has also been in fine form for the reserves having netted four goals in as many matches and has a strong case.

Or Cook could even play the in-form Kal Naismith as a false number nine.
