Christian Burgess and Michael Doyle have been hit with club fines following their half-time dressing room bust-up, The News understands.
Burgess was left requiring stitches following the incident in Saturday’s visit of Stevenage to Fratton Park.
Club captain Doyle returned to training today having been told not to attend yesterday’s session.
And after a meeting lasting more than an hour this morning, the veteran midfielder and defender Burgess were told they were being hit with a fine.
Pompey will now put the issue behind them and focus on trying to win promotion from League Two.
