Defender Mustapha Dumbuya has joined Scottish side Falkirk following a successful trial.

The Sierra Leone international was at Fratton Park for Pompey's 2012-13 campaign.

Right-back Dumbuya made 23 appearances during his sole season with the Blues, after impressing on trial.

The 31-year-old had spells at Crawley Town and Notts County after Pompey, before moving to Scotland – signing for Patrick Thistle in 2015.

Dumbuya's time at Patrick came to an end earlier this season but he has now earned an eight-week deal with Scottish Championship side Falkirk.

The defender featured in Falkirk's reserve match with Celtic on Tuesday.
