Kenny Jackett has again been shortlisted for the Sky Bet League One Manager of the Month award.
The Pompey boss was up for the accolade in August and is in the reckoning for the September prize.
And Jamal Lowe is vying for the player award.
Both impressed the judging panel following a superb September which saw the Blues end the month top of the table.
Jackett guided Pompey to three victories and two draws during the period.
His side picked up wins over Plymouth, Peterborough and Rochdale, while they were held at Fratton Park by Shrewsbury and Wycombe.
Also in the reckoning for the Manager of the Month prize is Doncaster boss Grant McCann, Accrington manager John Coleman and Charlton’s Lee Boywer.
Lowe played a key role in Pompey’s rise to the top of League One.
The winger registered three goals and three assists in September.
He was on target in the 3-0 victory over Plymouth, the 2-1 success at Peterborough and Saturday’s 3-1 triumph against Rochdale.
Lowe also teed-up Ronan Curtis’ first goal against the Pilgrims, as well as Gareth Evans and Brett Pitman’s efforts in the 2-2 draw with Wycombe.
The ex-Hampton & Richmond man is up against ex-Blues forward John Marquis (Doncaster), Jay Spearing (Blackpool) and Kieffer Moore (Barnsley) for the Player of the Month accolade.
